Grassy Roads Farm sits just outside of Glasgow, KY in Barren County. It is approximately 40 acres and has rolling hills, forests, pastures, a creek, a pond, and an old barn. I absolutely love our farm and am constantly amazed at the diversity of plants and animals we find here. Check out my Photo Albums for a small taste of all the wonderful things we find on our farm.
The name, Grassy Roads Farm, alludes to Robert Frost’s poem, The Road Not Taken. I thought it was fitting because I have taken, and continue to take, many roads that were “grassy and wanted wear” to get to where I am today.
Grassy Roads Farm currently raises ducks and honey bees. Grassy Roads Farm is also home to Busy Bee Nursery & Consulting. Busy Bee Nursery & Consulting specializes in plants and consulting services for honey bees, native pollinators, and wildlife conservation.
I chose the name Busy Bee for two reasons. First, it seemed like a natural fit because honey bees and native pollinators are a major part of my focus. Second, I knew that a nursery would require me to become an even “busier bee” than I already am.
Grassy Roads Farm and Busy Bee Nursery & Consulting are divisions of Grassy Roads, LLC.
